Senior Communicator for Movement for Change, Solomon Owusu has questioned the narrative that younger politicians should be favoured over older ones, especially within the context of ongoing corruption scandals.

Speaking during an interview on TV3, he argued that age is not a safeguard against wrongdoing, as both young and older officials have been implicated in corruption cases. "You have younger ones, 54 years, allegedly stealing from us.

Owusu cited several examples to back his claims, including individuals from the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) and Coordinator Buanyo, who are currently facing court proceedings. "You take the NPA-someone came to say 'Wallahi, Wallahi'-how old is he?
