The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced that its 2024 Presidential Candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, will file his presidential nomination on Monday, September 9, 2024, at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission.
Dr Bawumia, who currently serves as the Vice President and Leader of the Party, will be accompanied by his running mate and Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh.
They will be joined by the Party's National Chairman, General Secretary, the Majority Leader in Parliament, and other key Party leaders.
After filing his nomination, Dr Bawumia will address party sympathizers and the general public at the NPP's National Headquarters at 9:00 a.m.
The Party has extended an invitation to its members and the general public to participate in this historic moment, which they describe as a moment of possibility in Ghana's next chapter.
The announcement was made by Justin Kodua Frimpong, the General Secretary of the NPP, who emphasised the importance of this event in the Party's journey towards the 2024 elections.
