A fiery exchange erupted on Peace FM's morning show on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, between Nana Akomea, a former Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and Kwesi Pratt Jnr, Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper, during a panel discussion on the Ablekuma North parliamentary rerun.
The debate, which centered on the violence that marred the July 11 rerun, particularly the physical assault of former Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East, Mavis Hawa Koomson, quickly escalated into personal attacks between the two seasoned commentators.
