Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah says the Black Queens must win the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) to earn the respect they deserve across the continent.

The midfielder, who scored in Ghana's 4-1 win over Tanzania that sealed their place in the quarterfinals, insists lifting the trophy is the only measure of success for the team.

The result ensured Ghana finished second in Group C behind South Africa and booked a last-eight meeting with Algeria.

Boye-Hlorkah, who opened her tournament account in that decisive fixture, believes the Black Queens are capable of making a strong statement by going all the way.
