A group of (NDC) constituency executives in the Kusaug Traditional Area have openly expressed disappointment in former President , accusing him of failing to act decisively on the deteriorating security situation in Bawku.

At a press conference held on Tuesday, July 15, the executives from Binduri, Bawku Central, Pusiga, Tempane, Zebilla, and Garu said their people feel abandoned despite voting overwhelmingly for Mahama in the last election.

The executives stated that their trust in Mahama and the NDC was rooted in hopes for justice, peace, and the protection of Kusaug lives and customs. "During the December 7th election, the Kusaug people voted not just for hope and progress, but for survival, placing their trust in the NDC and President .

But that trust is now dangerously eroded," they said.
