Benin U20 head coach Raymond Tchale says his side will throw everything into their final group game against Ghana on Wednesday, describing their approach as that of a "wounded lion." After suffering a heavy 4-1 defeat to Nigeria in their opening match of the 2025 WAFU Zone B U20 Championship, Benin now face a do-or-die clash with hosts Ghana at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

The group has three teams, Nigeria have already qualified with four points, while Ghana have one point from their 1-1 draw with the Flying Eagles.

Benin sit bottom, and anything less than a win will see them eliminated.

But despite the odds, coach Tchale believes his team is far from finished. "We know what is at stake.
