Former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025, in London.
In the wake of his death, former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Farouk Aliyu, has condemned the negative reactions directed at the late leader on social media.
Aliyu said it was inappropriate for people to insult the former president after his passing speaking on Sunrise Daily on Channels Television. "It is quite unfortunate that Nigerians are heaping insults on former President Buhari after he has died," he said. "Each of us must have done something wrong to someone in one way or the other.
We all are humans and have our different shortcomings.
