The Association of Registered Nurses and Midwives, Ghana has stated that they will take a decision after their meeting with the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission on 15th July, 2025.
This was announced after the association met with the parliamentary select committee on health at parliament.
During the said meeting, the association was informed that the government has decided to feature only two of their allowances in the mid-year budget. "In the said meeting, it was clearly communicated by the Hon.
Minister of Health that the government's position on our demands is to capture only the Book and Research Allowance and the Uniform Allowance in the mid-year budget," the association disclosed in a statement shared via social media.
