Ghana ace Mohammed Kudus has turned his attention to the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali following Tottenham Hotspur defeat to Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday. Kudus and his Spurs teammates laboured after falling to an early Evanilson goal as the Cherries left the Tottenham Stadium with maximum points.
Despite the disappointment, Kudus believes it is time to take a break and reset as the players embark on international duty. "I think playing for your country is also a massive part of us being players, representing your nation.
So it's very, very important to me," he said after the game. "I think after the loss today, it's good to get our way to refresh our mind and then come back fresh again," he added.
Kudus has been outstanding since joining Spurs in the summer transfer window, delivering a masterful performance on his Premier League debut for the club.
