Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Shippers' Authority, Prof , has cautioned political party officials who visit polling stations during elections to be circumspect in their utterances and conduct themselves professionally.

He made the call while contributing to discussions on TV3's key Points on July 12, 2025, on the violence that erupted at selected polling stations at the Ablekuma North election rerun held on July 11, 2025.

His remarks was premised on reports detailing posture of some party executives, which Professor Gyampo believes directly contributes to the eruption of violence during by-elections and other political gatherings.

He specifically referenced the Ablekuma North rerun, where tensions escalated dramatically, leading to regrettable confrontations leading to the brutalisation of former MP for Ewutu Senya East and former Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture under the erstwhile Akufu-Addo administration Hawa Koomson.
