Majeed Ashimeru's future at Anderlecht remains uncertain after he turned down a proposal to join Turkish side Alanyaspor.
The Ghanaian midfielder, who has struggled for playing time due to injuries and increased competition, was seen as a player likely to exit the Belgian club during the current transfer window.
Anderlecht are keen to offload the 27-year-old to make room for new signings and balance their wage bill.
However, the offer from Alanyaspor did not meet Ashimeru's expectations on both sporting and financial grounds.
