Minister of Defence and Director of Elections and IT for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr.
Edward Omane Boamah, has urged the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to join forces with the NDC in reforming the Electoral Commission (EC) to restore public trust in Ghana's electoral system.
Dr.
Omane Boamah accused the NPP of disregarding repeated warnings from the NDC about serious flaws within the EC's operations before the 2024 elections - concerns he said have now led to a widespread loss of confidence in the electoral process.
