Ghanaian forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has taken part in his first training session with Swiss Challenge League side FC Aarau, following his recent move to the club on a free transfer.

His contract with Zürich was terminated earlier this summer, paving the way for a fresh opportunity in Switzerland's second tier.

The former Hearts of Oak striker signed for Zürich in January 2023 on a three-and-a-half-year deal, making 50 competitive appearances and registering two goals and four assists.
