Flagbearer aspirant for the (NPP), Dr , has paid a courtesy call on former President to formally inform him of his presidential ambitions.
Dr Acheampong, explaining the reason behind his visit said it was part of his broader consultations with key personalities and leaders of the party.
He expressed his reverence and appreciation for former President Kufuor, reflecting on their relationship and the pivotal role Kufuor has played in his political journey.
According to him, it would be a disgrace not to formally inform Kufuor of his presidential ambitions in person, and for him to instead hear about it through the media.
