The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has taken legal action against the Electoral Commission (EC) following its decision to rerun parliamentary elections in 19 polling stations within the Ablekuma North Constituency.
The party says the move lacks legal basis and threatens Ghana's democratic stability.
Speaking in an interview with Channel One TV, NPP National Youth Organiser, Salam Mustapha, disclosed that the party has filed an interlocutory injunction to halt the rerun process.
