Professor Godfred Bokpin, a respected finance expert at the University of Ghana, says the 24-hour economy policy being implemented by the Mahama administration is a deliberate attempt to shift Ghana's economy from its current state to one driven by value addition.
Speaking during an interview on TV3's KeyPoints on Saturday, July 6, Prof.
Bokpin emphasised that the policy does not require the creation of new bureaucratic structures to be effective. "Clearly, there is an attempt to move the economy from deformity to value addition.
We don't need to create an authority to implement the 24-hour economy," he stated.
