Presidential Advisor on the 24-Hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development Programmes, Mr.
Augustus Goosie Tanoh, has lauded President John Dramani Mahama for showing strong commitment and purpose in delivering on his promises barely four months into office.
Mr.
Tanoh described President Mahama's implementation of the 120-day social contract as a clear sign of decisive leadership aimed at rebuilding trust in governance. "I think that the social contract, the 120-day contract, and the fact that he has achieved all those milestones show a new, renewed determination and purpose," Tanoh stated while speaking on The Point of View with Bernard Avle on Channel One TV on Wednesday, July 2. "And that sets the landscape for what is to come, and so, in that sense, yes, I think he has demonstrated clearly that he means business - he also means to promote, protect, and expand business." Tanoh noted that beyond the economic initiatives, the President's broader agenda includes reshaping the relationship between the state and its citizens.
