Political science professor and outspoken CEO of the Ghana Shippers' Authority, Ransford Gyampo, has issued a strong rebuttal to what he describes as "baseless allegations" circulating on radio and social media.

In a public statement titled "Responding to Baseless Allegations Against Me," Prof.

Gyampo addressed claims that he had personally recruited 28 women and two men into the organisation-accusations he flatly denied. "I have not recruited 28 women and two men as being alleged.

I am not in charge of recruitment at my workplace," he clarified. "Recruitment over the years, I am told, has been done professionally by a private outsourced agency that follows a rigorous selection process." He also addressed criticism about his travel engagements, noting that his movements have been limited and entirely above board. "Part of my work requires that I travel, and out of the over 38 opportunities, I have only honoured four-with the expressed approval and permission from the Chief of Staff," he stated.
