Ghana commemorated Martyrs' Day on Monday, June 30, 2025, an annual observance to honour the three High Court justices who were brutally murdered in 1982 under the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC regime).

Justices Cecilia Koranteng-Addow, Frederick Poku Sarkodee, and Kwadwo Agyei Agyapong, along with Major Sam Acquah (rtd), were abducted from their homes at dawn on June 30, 1982 and killed.

They were later found dead and burnt at the Bundase Military Training Camp.

A distressing video shared by The Law Platform in a publication dated June 30, 2025, captured scenes from the burial service and interment of the three justices.
