The Ayawaso East Municipal Assembly, in collaboration with Broadway Entertainment, organized a cleanup exercise in Nima in the Greater Accra Region on June 28, 2025, ahead of the much-anticipated launch of a National Prayer and Thanksgiving Day, which will be graced by President at the National Mosque.
Leading the exercise was the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Abdul Ganiyu Ibrahim, who, along with assembly staff, community leaders, and residents, took to the streets to clean gutters, sweep roadsides, and raise awareness about sanitation in the municipality.
Speaking to the media, Ibrahim highlighted the significance of the initiative, stating that the cleanup was both a gesture of respect ahead of the President's visit and a broader call to action on improving sanitation in the area. "Sanitation is a big issue in our community.
