Suspended Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo has filed a fresh judicial review application at the High Court, seeking to quash the ongoing impeachment proceedings against her.
This marks the second legal action initiated personally by Justice Torkornoo.
Earlier, she petitioned the Supreme Court to interpret Article 146(8) of the Constitution in a way that allows her to waive her right to an in-camera hearing.
In her latest application, Justice Torkornoo argues that the impeachment process has disregarded the rule of law and principles of natural justice.
