Ghana's Minister for Communications and MP for Ningo-Prampram, Samuel Nartey George, has fiercely condemned the recent viral images of a South African gay couple posing intimately at Ghana's Independence Arch and other national landmarks.
Known for his strong stance against LGBTQ+ advocacy, the outspoken MP took to social media platform X to voice his outrage.
Calling the act a "despicable disrespect" to Ghana's national symbols and cultural values, Sam George described the couple as "useless individuals" and insisted their actions were a direct attack on the country's moral fabric.
He also expressed disappointment in critics from the opposition NPP who demanded action from him, accusing them of hypocrisy for supporting former President Akufo-Addo's refusal to sign the original Family Values Bill into law.
