Minister of Education Haruna Iddrisu has assured all newly trained teachers that the payment of their salaries is on the way, pending the presentation of the Mid-Year Supplementary Budget by the Minister of Finance, Dr.
Cassiel Ato Forson.
Addressing Parliament after a concern was raised by Hon.
Samuel Atta-Mills, Member of Parliament for Komenda/Edina/Eguafo/Abrem, the Education Minister revealed that the process to issue Staff Identification Cards to newly trained teachers is already underway - a necessary step before salary disbursements can begin. "Once the Mid-Year Budget is presented, payments will follow.
