Chairman of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Asiedu Nketia has reiterated his calls for the leadership of the Electoral Commission to be removed.
He holds the view that Ghana has a very wrong election management body in place, and until they are removed, the right things can't be done.
Chairman Asiedu Nketia was speaking to Accra-based Joy News on the delay in declaring the winner of the Ablekuma North constituency parliamentary election. "We are having a wrong election management body in place and so that is a subject of reset in future.
It means that bringing it back to an institution fit for purpose, the way it exists now, is not fit for purpose.
