Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited is changing its corporate logo, from GT­Bank to GTCO, says the Managing Director, Thomas Attah John.This, according to him, was in line with the reorganisation of the Guaranty Trust Group into a holding company with interest in both bank and non-bank subsidiaries.In a press statement signed by the MD, copied The Ghanaian Times in Accra yesterday it said while the logo would be changed across all their vi­sual identity and brand assets, online and offline, the Bank's legal name and operations in Ghana will remain unchanged."Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited will continue to operate as a fully licensed commercial bank under the supervision of the Bank of Ghana.The change from GTBank to GTCO it said would be seen in all the bank's branches, website, digital platforms, emails and letterheads, directional signs, pylons, wall murals, billboards, medians, SLADS, branded merchandise.He added that this would reinforce the brand's position of 'The Power of One', which represents the brand and exposure benefits in its relation­ship with the mother company and all subsidiaries across 10 countries in Africa and the United Kingdom.Commenting on the logo change, the Managing Director stated: "This transition to the new GTCO logo seeks to emphasise the fact that the Bank is now part of a financial services group that offers more than just banking."While our logo has changed, our commitment to innovation, excel­lence and dedication to providing excellent banking services to our customers remains the same.The GT Bank MD said they were excited about the future and the broader opportunities this would bring to customers in the country and across Africa, stating that the rollout of the new logo would be implemented gradually across all GTBank Ghana touch points.Meanwhile, the Bank has assured all customers and stakeholders that the rebranding will not affect existing account details, branch operations or the quality of service delivery.Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Ltd is a member of the Guaranty Trust Group known for its strong service culture, innovation and profession­alism and remains committed to building long-term relationships with customers, employees and communi­ties in which it operates. BY TIMES REPORTER
