The Half Assini Divisional Police Command has rescued a 12-year-old boy who was captured in a disturbing viral video being brutally assaulted by two men for allegedly stealing GHc200.
According to a statement released by the on June 24, 2025, the incident occurred at Ankasa, a community near Elubo in the Western Region.
The statement further stated that, in the video, the young boy was seen tied with a nylon rope and suspended from the roof of a building while being subjected to severe beatings.
The police have arrested the two suspects identified in the footage as Issah Morro,58, and Suleman Addul Rashid, 27.
