Police in the Half Assini Division have rescued a 12-year-old boy who was brutally assaulted and tied with a nylon rope in a disturbing video that has since gone viral on social media.
The incident occurred in the New Ankasa community near Elubo in the Western Region, after the boy was allegedly accused of stealing GH₵200.
In a swift response to public outrage, the Ghana Police Service arrested two suspects identified in the video as Issah Morro, 58, and Suleman Abdul Rashid, 27.
The duo were captured on camera physically assaulting the naked minor, who was seen hanging from the ceiling of a building.
