The Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, Patrick Yaw Boamah, has shared his reflections on the 2024 general elections, describing the results as a demonstration of the political maturity of the Ghanaian electorate and the numerous challenges faced by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In an interview on The Point of View on Channel One TV on June 23, 2025, Boamah stated that although he strongly supported the NPP's presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, he recognised early that the political atmosphere was not favourable to the party.
