A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) communication team, Wonder Madilo, has described the ongoing exchange between the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) and Professor Ransford Gyampo as politically dangerous, cautioning that such public disputes among state officials only serve to arm political opponents.
The warning comes after the OSP responded publicly to comments made by Professor Ransford Gyampo, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Shippers Authority, who questioned the motive behind the office's investigation into former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.
Speaking on TV3 on Saturday, June 21, Prof.
Gyampo said he hoped the Special Prosecutor was acting out of "patriotism" and not personal vendetta.
