The Bono Regional Chairman of the (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, widely known as Abronye DC, has hit back at what he describes as double standards within the party's leadership amid ongoing calls for unity.

Speaking on Ohia TV and monitored by GhanaWeb on Monday, June 23, 2025, Abronye questioned the party's commitment to unity, pointing accusing fingers at the campaign team of Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the former Member of Parliament for Assin Central.

He alleged that despite preaching unity, national party executives have failed to call out flagbearer aspirants whose teams are allegedly behind coordinated smear campaigns. "They talk about unity, but they can't even call such people to order.

How is that unity? "We see the smear campaigns on social media.
