The acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Shippers Authority, Prof , has stated that he hopes the Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng has no bone to pick with the embattled former Minister of Finance, Kenneth Ofori-Atta but is persuing the matter out of patriotism.
According to Prof Gyampo, if it is not out of patriotism, then it will not augur well for the reputation of Agyebeng.
Speaking on TV3's KeyPoints on June 21, 2025, Prof Gyampo made this remarks while while contributing to discussions on the topic on the OSP's probe of the minister.
Prof Gyampo's comment comes after some analysts have suggested that Agyebeng should explore other means to get the required information from Ofori-Atta instead of declaring him wanted. "I hope the OSP is not motivated by vendetta but out of patriotism," he said.
