General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has firmly dismissed growing concerns that the party's upcoming presidential primaries have been strategically structured to favour former Vice President Dr.

Mahamudu Bawumia or any other aspirant.

Speaking in an interview on Channel One, Mr.

Kodua rejected what he described as speculative narratives and insisted that the party's internal democratic processes remain intact and fair to all aspirants. "If you have monitored our electoral history even from 1992, 1996 to 2000, at every election - from national through to polling stations - about 70%, sometimes even 80%, of current executives retain their positions," he stated, highlighting the consistency in leadership retention within the party as evidence of a robust and fair system.
