Defence Minister, Dr Omane Boamah, has announced that after a thorough investigation into its recruitment, the Ghana Armed Forces will continue the process, which was halted after the National Democratic Congress (NDC) took over power.
According to him, GAF is reaching out to persons who have qualified for officer roles several months after the recruitment process was put on hold.
In a post via social media, he said, "Meanwhile, the Ghana Armed Forces has begun processing qualified and successful applicants from previous enlistment processes for Officer positions.
Only successful applicants (after a thorough surgical and profoundly revealing investigations) are being contacted to continue with the process, while unsuccessful ones are being informed of the outcome".
