Dr Kwame Asah-Asante, a political scientist and senior lecturer at the University of Ghana and a prominent member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed confidence in the party's ability to guide Ghana towards a prosperous future.
He said he believes that the NDC can achieve its development goals if the government maintains its current trajectory.
Speaking on JoyNews' AM Show on June 18, Dr Asah-Asante commended the government's early achievements, while emphasising the need for focus and commitment to ensure the country reaches its intended destination. "I am hopeful, and I have no doubt in my mind that this government has started well," Dr Asah-Asante stated.
His assertion is based on the NDC's comprehensive development agenda. "I hope and pray that they remain afloat and deliver on all the promises made to the people.
