The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was preceded by a series of interesting events, one of the most notable being a brief exchange of pleasantries between the General Secretary of the NPP, Justin Kodua Frimpong, and the famous Hajia Fati Amadu.

The NEC meeting on June 17, 2025, engaged in a crucial meeting at the Alisa Hotel, in Accra, to deliberate on proposed constitutional reforms that could significantly reshape the party's internal power dynamics and electoral processes.

Hajia Fati, the die-hard supporter of the party, who slapped a journalist, Charity Akosua Safoa, alias Ohemaa Sakyiwaa Awehenepa, in May 2018, was seen seated at the entrance of the venue for the meeting.

In an X video shared by SikaOfficial on June 18, 2025, the once vibrant Hajia Fati, is seen seated on a chair with a pair of clutches by her side and looking quite sober but highly spirited.
