The National Service Authority (NSA) has withheld the deployment of 3,597 graduates from 22 tertiary institutions for the 2025/2026 service year over concerns regarding their schools' accreditation status.

In a statement posted on its official X account on Tuesday, June 17, the NSA disclosed that 122 tertiary institutions submitted graduates for national service, but 22 of those institutions are not accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).

According to the NSA, this measure forms part of ongoing efforts to enhance transparency and data integrity in the national service enrolment process.

A total of 132,393 PIN codes have so far been released for eligible graduates from 100 accredited institutions.
