Dr Clement Apaak, Deputy Minister for Education and Member of Parliament for Builsa South, has paid a morale-boosting visit to BECE candidates at Tamale Secondary School in the Northern Region.
The visit formed part of the government's nationwide monitoring of the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), which began earlier this week.
Addressing the candidates ahead of their final papers, Dr Apaak conveyed warm greetings on behalf of the Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, and President John Dramani Mahama.
He noted that the Minister was unable to attend in person due to official engagements in Accra but had sent him to deliver words of encouragement. "We know it has not been easy, but we also believe you have worked very hard, with the support of your teachers, to come this far," Dr Apaak told the candidates. "Have faith in yourselves.
