A former National Chairman of the (NPP), , has shot down claims that the previous NPP administration was responsible for the country's challenges.
He instead offered a different perspective on the former government's performance, stating that the NPP's administration was one of the best in the nation's history.
He stated that despite the challenges faced during its eight-year tenure, former President , along with former Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta, delivered a 'solid performance' in advancing the country's development. "The government didn't cause the mess.
The NPP under the circumstances for the eight years, I would say, go into history as one of the best governments that had ruled this country irrespective of what people's opinion would be. "But of course, everybody is entitled to their own opinion, but I am saying, closely that I've worked with that government as a party chairman and as a member of the cabinet, I don't think the performance can be described as bad.
