The Ghana Education Service (GES) has extended the school selection deadline to 25th June 2025 to accommodate the inclusion of 25 additional private Senior High Schools in this year's placement process.
In an official notice signed by Prince D.
Agyemang-Duah, Director of Schools and Instructions Division, the GES stated: "This extension will allow students and parents to carefully consider these new options before making their final selections." The newly approved private schools span across all regions, including notable institutions like Gulf College Japan in Greater Accra, Watkins Academy in Volta Region, and Golden Gate SHS in Western Region.
