A former National Chairman of the (NPP), , has described the actions of the current government, including the pursuit of former Minister of Finance, , and the raid on the residence of former Bank of Ghana Governor, Dr Ernest Addison, as unfortunate.
Speaking in an interview on Oyerepa FM, shared on Facebook on June 14, 2025, Blay stated that the two former government officials had helped manage the country efficiently through their services and had held high-ranking positions, factors he believes should exempt them from such treatment. Very resolute and extremely hard on what he believes in.
It's unfortunate and it's not only him; the Governor of the Bank of Ghana Dr Addison also was subjected to that kind of a treatment.
