Majority Chief Whip Rockson Nelson Dafeamekpor has assured the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) that their demands under the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) will be addressed in the upcoming mid-year budget.

Speaking on TV3's KeyPoints programme on Saturday, June 14, Dafeamekpor said:"We will do something in the mid-year budget for you.

I can assure you.

The Majority Leader, Mahama Ayariga, cannot assure you on this issue and go to sleep." He further hinted that action will be taken soon: "In the next ten days, you will hear something from government." His comments come in the wake of GRNMA's nationwide strike, which drew public attention to longstanding grievances over pay, conditions of service, and government delays in implementing their negotiated agreement.
