President John Dramani Mahama has underscored Ghana's commitment to deepening its security collaboration with the United Kingdom in light of emerging threats across the sub-region.
The President made this known while receiving the outgoing British High Commissioner to Ghana, H.E.
Harriet Thompson, at the Jubilee House as part of her farewell visit.
He praised the UK's ongoing support in areas of intelligence and counter-terrorism, describing the collaboration as timely and invaluable. "We appreciate the partnership we have shared in the fight against terrorism and will continue to rely on the UK for help and cooperation in intelligence gathering and training to prepare ourselves in the event of any attack," Mahama stated.
