The Chairman of Asaase Broadcasting Company, , has confirmed media reports regarding the closure of one of his media stations, Asaase Radio 99.5.
Reacting to the closure on his X page on Thursday, June 12, 2025, the (NPP) stalwart stated that the shutdown by the National Communications Authority (NCA) was due to delay in the renewal of its licenses in 2024, which permit the station to legally operate in the country.
According to him, the broadcasting station's license was renewed in December 2024, although it was originally due for renewal in October of the same year. "Yes, it's true.
