Kwame Owiredu, lawyer for the Member of Parliament for Akwatia, Ernest Kumi, has urged all parties involved in the long-standing Akwatia election dispute to end the litigation and move on.
His statement comes as the Supreme Court has overturned the contempt conviction handed to NPP Member of Parliament for Akwatia, Ernest Kumi, by the High Court in Koforidua.
The apex court also barred Justice Emmanuel Senyo Amedahe from proceeding to sentence the legislator following a judicial review application filed by Mr.
Kumi, who challenged the High Court's contempt ruling.
