Ghana midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana is on the verge of completing a move from Atalanta to Bologna, with the deal structured as a loan that includes an option to buy, according to transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio.

The arrangement, if finalised, will allow Bologna to strengthen their midfield depth under coach Vincenzo Italiano while keeping long-term flexibility.

The loan is understood to carry a €1 million fee, with Bologna holding an option to purchase the 22-year-old for €11 million at the end of the season.

Sulemana remains under contract with Atalanta until June 2028, a clear sign of the Bergamo club's long-term faith in his development, even as they permit his temporary exit for more regular minutes.
