Nana Ayew Afriyie, has acknowledged that some public comments made by the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako - popularly known as Chairman Wontumi - about President John Dramani Mahama ahead of the 2024 elections were inappropriate and overly personal.
Dr.
Afriyie revealed that Wontumi has agreed to apologise for the offensive comments, which were captured in videos widely circulated prior to the polls.
