The Minority Caucus in Parliament has appealed to the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) to be compassionate in their approach to demanding the implementation of the 2024 agreement for improved conditions of service.

This comes amid the ongoing impasse between the GRNMA and the government over the agreement's implementation.

Addressing the press on Tuesday, June 10, the Ranking Member on Parliament's Health Committee, Dr.

Nana Ayew Afriyie, emphasised that while the Minority recognises the validity of the nurses' demands and action, their primary concern remains the well-being of the Ghanaian populace.
