African talent took center stage at the 2025 BET Awards, with Nigerian star Ayra Starr winning the coveted Best International Act.
The 22-year-old singer beat out top contenders including Ghana's Black Sherif, Nigeria's Rema, and South Africa's Tyla to clinch the award.
Held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, the ceremony was hosted by comedian Kevin Hart, who returned to the stage with his signature bold humour.
