Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Edem Agbana, has called on former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to urge his cousin and former Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, to submit himself to investigations by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).

Ofori-Atta is currently on the OSP's watchlist and has also been placed on Interpol's red notice alert.

He is under investigation for alleged acts of corruption and abuse of office during his tenure as finance minister.

Despite efforts by the OSP to secure his cooperation for in-person interrogation, Ofori-Atta's lawyers informed the Special Prosecutor on June 2 that he is in the United States receiving medical treatment and is scheduled to undergo surgery.
