The Member of Parliament for Asawase Constituency in the Ashanti Region and Minister of Interior, Mohammed Mubarak- Muntaka, on June 3, 2025, criticised the Minority Leader of Parliament, , for what he described as a disregard for the rules of the House.
According to Muntaka, Afenyo-Markin disrespected parliamentary procedure by frequently rising to speak without following the laid-down processes.
He accused the Minority Leader of behaving inappropriately during a parliamentary session and called on the Speaker to bring him to order. "Mr Speaker, this is where my worry is.
